The squeeze-clamp design provides secure mechanical grip while the insulated throat helps protect conductor insulation from abrasion during installation and wire pulling. The 90 degree configuration provides a clean and controlled 90 degree transition and these are also useful for repetitive assemblies making them prefab friendly.
These squeeze type connectors with insulated throats are used in dry locations to bond flexible metal conduits to boxes or enclosures where a 90-degree change in direction is required.
