The nonmetallic construction eliminates grounding requirements, resists corrosion, and reduces installation weight, while built-in mounting brackets or nails allow fast, secure installation during rough-in. Integrated cable clamps or knockouts further simplify NM cable entry, helping reduce installation time and labor costs.
• 4" square new-work plastic boxes are installed during new construction before drywall is applied and are typically nailed or screwed directly to wall studs or framing members.
